H&W Drawing Office
A BIT OF HISTORY A few years ago I had the privilege of being allowed into the Harland & Wolff drawing offices long before they got converted into the very beautiful "Titanic Hotel" I wandered throughout the building taking photos of just about anything that interested me, for those that don't know this is where the plans were drawn up for the Titanic and Olympic liners along with many other H&W ships. The room with the curved ceiling is the planning office. I also took some photographs outside at the slips where the Titanic and Olympic were built. The image with the straight crane tracks shows Slipway No.3 Titanic and in the background you can just see the new Titanic centre being built. All the images are pre iPhone and were taken on my Nikon camera.
